Way to go Sandra!  I wanted to post here to say that I too found the R & D Diet Cookie.  I lost 30 lbs right away and I have to admit it was pretty easy!  It was such a relief to find someone who was telling me quick weight loss was OK and maybe even better than trying something slow.  I took a 3 month break (and kept the weight off).  I just started them seriously again in order to lose my last 20 lbs.  The hardest thing was to change my way of thinking that rapid weight loss is bad for you.  I feel like I've been brainwashed all my life!

I'm always looking for foods I can eat and yet stay in ketosis. My wife is on one of those cookie diets. She wanted me to try them but I need more quantity and I have always had good success on Atkins. Anyway...
I wanted to let you know that after losing about 15 lbs on the Atkins diet my scale seemed to get stuck. I noticed my wife's R&D Diet cookies were low in carbs so I started eating 2 or 3 each day. I was surprised I was able to stay in ketosis! Each day I ate a regular large Atkins breakfast (scrambled eggs and cheese and sometimes bacon). I would then eat 2 or 3 R&D Diet Cookies during the day and ended up with a normal Atkins low-carb supper. The cookies were really good (compared to not being allowed cookies) and helped me lower my overall calorie intake. The weight started coming off right away and I lost another 10 lbs.   I have not yet had more than 3 in a day so I don't know how many you could eat without going out of ketosis.

I too went on the R and D Diet Cookie program when I first heard about it in December.  I've lost 18 lbs and I have to say it has been pretty effortless.  It was quicker at first of course.  At first I just kept the calories low but now I find I am feeling really good and want to do healthier things... I'm even thinking about exercising a little!  Maybe walking.  Recently I have found myself buying healthier foods without even thinking about it.... more fruits and veges and whole grains.  The cookies were just the crutch I needed to get started.  I have 50 lbs total to lose so wish me luck and I will keep you updated.

Love the cookies!  Can you make me a batch with Stevia instead of Splenda?

My husband and I just started month 3 of the P90X program.  We both love it!  We are both in our early 50's and are in better shape than we have been in years.  It's not for quick weight loss tho'... we both needed to lose about 30 - 40 lbs.  My husband is getting in great physical shape but not losing weight.  I'm getting in great physical shape and losing weight because I am on the R&D Diet Cookie program.  I look and feel better than I have in years!

I lost 12# on the cookie diet and 15 more on the R&D Diet Cookie. I prefer the taste of the R&D Cookie (I especially like the gingerbread)!

I agree! The concept of the cookie diet works great for me! I have 2 young sons and if I didn't have something like the cookie diet I would gain so much weight. I use the R&D Diet Cookies. They fit my budget better. Oh yes... I lost 30 lbs after my 2nd son on the R&D Diet Cookie program.

I've been on the R&D Diet Cookies for a couple of months now. That actually means I take most weekends off. First I want to say that there is no medical evidence that rapid weight loss is bad for you (if you are otherwise healthy). A very low calorie diet may not be optimum but neither is being very overweight. The cookies are nutritional (much more than a burger or cheetos!). I feel good when I am eating the cookies and they teach me portion control. Yes, if you could live on 800 calories of icecream a day you would lose weight too but get serious... you couldn't live on 800 of calories of icecream. The cookies are nutritional and they contain nothing that stimulates your appetite.
